Takiti: Rhythm Trainer

Takiti is built for hearing rhythm patterns while you practise and for tightening your timing.

STEP GRID
• Several instrument rows: kick, snare, hi-hat, clave, tambourine, dum, tek, ka and more
• Every cell is empty, normal or accented
• Custom meters and groupings (e.g. 9/8 as 2+2+2+3)
• Swing, mute and solo per row

LIBRARY
• Turkish usul: Semai, Sofyan, Düyek, Türk aksağı, Devr-i hindî, Aksak, Curcuna, Malfuf
• World rhythms: son clave, rumba clave, tresillo, bossa nova
• Basic grooves: rock, funk, shuffle, 6/8, waltz
• Copy and change any built-in pattern, and save your own

POLYRHYTHM
Two layers divide the same bar into different numbers of equal parts (3:2, 4:3, 5:4…), shown on a shared grid.

PRACTICE
• Timing test: play along and see how many milliseconds early or late each tap was
• Latency correction for headphones and Bluetooth speakers
• Tempo trainer, muted bars and count-in

EXPORT
Export patterns as MIDI files, or as .takiti files to bring them to another device.

No account, no ads, no internet connection required. Sounds are generated on your device and no data is sent to any server.
