Dockela Launcher

Dockela is a clean, fast home screen for Android. Everything you expect is there: pages, dock, folders and widgets. On top of that, a tidy Today page, an App Library that sorts your apps into categories by itself, and search that looks only inside your device.

Dockela has no internet permission. Android does not let an app without this permission connect to the network. There are no ads, no analytics and no accounts; your home screen layout stays on this device.

HOME SCREEN
• Multiple pages; separate grids for portrait and landscape
• Dock, folders and other apps' widgets; resize widgets with handles
• Long-press an icon for the app's shortcuts
• Clock and search bar widgets

TODAY PAGE
• A greeting for the time of day and the date
• Clock, battery, next alarm, agenda, quick settings, frequently used, recently installed, note and storage cards
• Cards come in small, medium or large and are reordered by dragging
• Optional Screen time card: today's usage, unlocks and most used apps

APP LIBRARY
• Apps are sorted automatically into about 20 categories: communication, social, banking, shopping, travel, games…
• Move apps to another category, create your own categories or delete them

SEARCH
• Swipe down on the home screen: apps, app shortcuts and settings
• Suggestions and search history (on this device only, can be turned off)

DRAWER AND ICONS
• A–Z list, letter bar, tabs and folders; hide the apps you don't want
• ADW- and Nova-compatible icon packs; pick an icon for a single app
• Icon shape and size, labels and shadow

LOOK
• Dockela's own wallpapers, solid colours and gradients, or a photo from your gallery
• Light and dark theme; accent colour from your wallpaper (Android 12 and later)
• Gestures: swipe up for the drawer, swipe down for search, double-tap to lock the screen; assign other actions to any gesture

ON TABLETS TOO
• Landscape and portrait; a wide dock, settings in two panes

BACKUP
• Your whole layout and all settings are saved to a single file and restored on a new phone

PERMISSIONS
All optional and only requested when you turn on the related feature: calendar (agenda), notification access (notification dots on icons; only counts are read), device admin (double-tap to lock only), usage access (Screen time card; read on the device).
