Text Edit

★★★★★ A goid text editor, I particularly love how you can manually type in the path/filename in the save as dialog. It would actually be 5 stars, if the menu weren't hidden behind the keyboard, it's inconvenient to have to back out of the keyboard every time I want to access the menu.

★★★★★ This has been my favorite mobile text editor for a couple of years. Tip for all the people saying there is no way to open or save new files. The app does have menus, but these only work/work best with an external keyboard attached. They open with the App key (also Alt key on right side), and close with the Esc. Key on my keyboard. Try hooking a Bluetooth keyboard up and experiment, it took me a while to figure this out. Try the Windows or Mac key, depending on your keyboard.

★★★★★ I know it has a save, open, new button on the bottom somewhere, but I can not for the life of me find it on my new phone. I used it just fine on my Moto G6 but can't find it on my 1+ 7Pro... Edit: Found it. Revisited after a bunch of apps just couldn't load the amount of data I wanted to edit without lagging turns out I just needed to hold the switch app button (the square navigation button at the bottom of the phone) to pop up the options available. Great app other than that.

★★☆☆☆ It's not an editor. All you can do is you can type on it. You can't even save
