Description

The Robin bus service is run by Gloucestershire County Council and is a flexible bus service for everyone. The service is specifically designed to pick up and drop off close to people’s homes (e.g. known bus stops or village centres) to get you to a destination in the operating areas and/or a connection to onward travel.

Use The Robin App to search for, book, and pay for your travel, get alerts sent straight to your phone to inform you of pick up and drop off times, and view the live minibus tracker to see where your driver is.

Areas of operation: A north and south area of the Cotswolds in Gloucestershire, a south area of the Forest of Dean, Tewkesbury district and Berkeley Vale.

The service runs 7am to 7pm, Monday to Saturday

Very clunky app. The website is worse. Feels like it was designed by people who never try to use the service. I couldn't find key info, e.g. the times and days the service operates. Gave up.

Once logged in and selected an area, no town or post code were to be found, no place at all. I've done my search on desktop website, a bit clunky but managed to do it there. Unspeakably disappointing that there's no service at all between Chippenham and Bath, where regular buses are also hard to find, but that's a whole other story, I know...

Didn't work for me as it was not possible to get a bus back later than lunchtime because all the later buses were block booked for school children. So no lovely days out to Slim bridge or Wetonbirt were possible. Really disappointing.
