Comments on HertsLynx for Android

★★★★★ Micheal Spatz · Jul 13, 2022

Booked a bus 1 week in advance for a countryside walk. Turned up as booked and very comfortable. It's a shame it isn't advertised much as many people who we met had never heard of it!

★★★★★ Alice Bowler · Dec 1, 2021

Amazing service, the app is clear and simple to use, and the vehicles are amazing. Drivers are all super friendly and the whole service has made such a difference in the community

★★★★★ Jon Frame · Oct 2, 2021

Kind of a taxi bus cross between an Uber taxi and a public bus, getting you between any bus stops you choose even if they're not served by the same bus company, in the same borough, or found on the same direct bus route. It's like an inter-bus stop community taxi that costs the same as a bus ticket (or sometimes less) and way cheaper than Uber. If you've ever found local/county buses frustratingly impractical compared to car travel, HCC offer Lynx as the answer. Plus fewer emissions.

Makes you register just to show only north Herts and decorum. Not exactly Herts then

★☆☆☆☆ Olli Sapsford · Oct 8, 2021

Would not recommend!! The service turned up 45 minutes late, and I did not receive an apologie, explanation or refund. It doesn't cost much however it seems as if I have just paid someone to waste my time. I think that at the very least you should be able to expect reliability. I personally would choose hitchhiking over Hertslynx.

★★☆☆☆ Paddy Hurley · Jan 26, 2026

When it facilitated the routhe between Bishops Stratford and Braughing it was a great service. But is now there is no way of booking (always declines with no availability on the dates / times) and no clarity as to why.

★☆☆☆☆ Paul Brunt · Apr 27, 2024

Dreadful - can't get beyond "territory source", once chosen you have to enter city and postcode. It doesn't recognize either Bunting ford and/or my postcode! Now it won't even let me post this comment. Why doesn't anyone running the service check to see if it can be accessed?
