Half the articles open in a within-app browser, so you need to log in fresh every second article or so just to read. I guess they want to make reading a high friction activity for subscribers.

Not friendly to college students. My school has a subscription to WSJ and your able to get it to work on the web but not the app its self. Makes looking at the news very difficult.
