Total Cooking Mastery

Total Cooking Mastery is a focused practice tool for musicians who need to read and write key signatures quickly. It features interactive drills where you identify the tonic note or place sharps and flats in the correct positions. This makes it ideal for short daily sessions, such as during a morning commute.

The app offers two main modes: reading and writing. In reading mode, a signature appears in treble or bass clef, and you tap the correct tonic on a one-octave keyboard. In writing mode, the key is named, and you must place each accidental in the right order and octave. A counter under the staff tracks your progress as you go.

You have access to 120 cards covering all 30 key signatures in both clefs. Cards are grouped into sessions of 8, 12, or 20, allowing you to tailor the volume of practice to your schedule. The content follows established theory rules for the order of sharps and flats.

Spaced repetition ensures that keys you miss are reintroduced shortly after. Missed cards return three cards later and soon in the following days, helping you stop relying on manual counting. A visual circle of fifths also highlights which keys remain weak for you, often pointing to specific challenge areas.

You can save your personal folder of anthems with their signatures drawn to prioritize keys for upcoming services. All content works completely offline, requiring no internet connection. With Total Cooking Mastery, your favorites and practice progress are stored locally on your device, with no accounts or cloud synchronization required.
