Used only for monitoring a family member. Bought 2 cases - one for morning pills and one for afternoon. Paired with iPad onsite and monitoring remotely with app on an Android device. It is a definitely a bit quirky but the relief it provides is worth putting up with the occasional issue and awkward setup. Requests for support have all been dealt with quickly. Version 0.0.1.27 crashed on Android 6.0.1, Cyanogen OS 13.1.2. New version 0.5.1 seems like working as expected, but functionality for over-the-air update not fully implemented. I have 1.0.165-A (Feb 18 2016) firmware version and could not update to 1.0.167-A that shipped with 0.0.1.27. When this functionality will be fully implemented? I am asking because my device eats battery in ~2 months, and I hope version 1.0.167 is more optimized. But device itself is really cool and useful!

junk, the pillbox finally worked with the latest firmware update for exactly 2 days on a fresh battery, then died with a dead battery.

What a waste Can't schedule more than one time period per chamber (i.e. am pills & pm pills). Looks like you have to buy another pillbox in order to.
