Troms Billett

Troms fylkestrafikk's mobile app lets you buy your ticket before you get on board. The app is valid on buses, express boats and ferries provided by Troms fylkestrafikk.

Troms Billett requests access permission to the following functions:

• Position (Access to exact position in the foreground)
In order for Troms Billett to automatically suggest a ticket for the zone you are in. If location services are turned off, you can still buy a ticket, but must manually state where the ticket should apply.

• Telephone (Access to read phone status and identity.)
Not used by Troms Billett, but public transport companies in other regions use the same source code.

• Contacts (read your contacts)
Not used by Troms Billett, but public transport companies in other regions use the same source code.


Other

• Read sync settings
Used for period tickets to be automatically updated with control code and today's image.

• Run foreground service
Used for ticket purchase and app upgrade.

• Control vibration.
Used for notifications (when it available).

• Control data transfer using NFC technology.
Used when reading travel cards (when it available).

• Run at startup.
Used to view notifications (when it available) and update tickets.

• Have full network access.
Used to receive error messages and information from Troms Billett's backend

• Use biometric and fingerprint.
Used for confirming purchase of tickets.

• View network connections.
Used for immediate error messages if the network is down. This is to give you a quick message and not wait unnecessarily long.

• Prevent phone from sleeping.

Used to secure communication between the phone and Troms Billett's backend

• Play Install Refer API
Used to see where users are adopting the app

• Receive data from the Internet.
Used to communicate with Troms Ticket when buying and downloading tickets for your mobile.

If you want to turn off access, do so from settings on your phone.
