It is a privacy-friendly calendar, but it doesn't have basic feature like Tags, only one tag is available for free and No new ones, Proton Calendar is much better in that. I like Tutamail and Calendar UI but tagging features in premium is pushed me to uninstall, at least few free tags will be helpful to install and buy tuta premium in the future. EDIT: Thanks for responding and recently I been migrating from proton as indian govt blocking it, Tuta looks great.

I've been a user of both the calendar and mail apps and love them both. Functional, clean (which is what I admire) and most importantly private. I haven't found something I want out of my calendar app missing as of writing this. One minor preference - I liked the previous widget 😅 Both the small drawing that showed up when you had no events and the fact that events for the upcoming days showed up only when you scrolled down. Would love if there were options to choose between the two 😁

If you want to Google, but have qualms about Proton, Tuta is a great option. Having a separate Calendar app is useful, even though functionally it's not that different from the Mail app. If only the Duplicate function was working better, it would earn the full 5 stars from me. It's a great example where open-source succeeds - small apps done smartly, with only the required functionality. We don't need everything apps, TVM.

I love Tuta mail, but this calendar widget leaves a lot to be desired. Some major pain points for me: - No option to subscribe to or manage outside calendars. - Unable to copy events to easily make a new one. - Reminders and notifications can sometimes fail to go off or go off on the wrong day or time if you update an event time. - No daily agenda view. - Clock widget for selecting time of events frequently breaks. I had to make the unfortunate choice to go back to Google calendar for now.

I really like it when it's working, but the widget (which is the main interface to the calendar for me) is unusable: it keeps syncing most of the time and while syncing it does nothing at all, just goes blank for minutes and shows only an animation, not even today's date, nor does it open the main app when touched. The Agenda view is the same as the Day view instead of showing a list of upcoming events. Most contacts are duplicated when imported. You have to import festivities from elsewhere.
