Description
This application can be used as an Unicode explorer, or an advanced character picker. Free as in beer, no spying, no adds, no in-app purchases :-)
The lite version does not include embedded fonts, nor extra support for Kanji characters (Unihan database). This makes it (much) smaller than the full version.
You can browse the full Unicode range, jump to Unicode code points or blocks of your choice, or search in character names.
For all characters you get the standard information in the Unicode Character Database (UCD).
Supports characters beyond Basic Multilingual Plane (BMP) and Emoji (including the color Emoji starting with Android 4.3).

This is a really useful app for anybody who works with coding! One thing that could be improved is the "find in description" feature. I was trying to find all chars that had "z notation" in their name list. Symbols like "⤖" did not show up in the results, even though they had "z notation" in their name list. Also, could you add an option to the settings to toggle between "single tap to add char to input, double tap for info" and "single tap for info, double tap to add char to input"? Thanks.

Excellent app -- easy to use, with many useful features. Lets me search for either a text string (if I'm looking for a specific character) or Unicode block (if I'm browsing the database). The Favorites feature is a time-saver that lets me save a list of characters I use often. I've tried several Unicode apps, and this is the one I've stuck with, for features and ease-of-use. Thanks to the dev!

Blank screen opens and closes in a millisecond. Android 11 (MIUI 12.5.2) detects this app is crashing and proposes me to report it. 😔 It's a pitty. It used to work. Maybe it's due to the Android's new restrictions on access to the system resources, IDK.

Totally not worth my time. Only about an eighth of the symbols were there. The rest was just boxes with Xs. Uninstalled!
