A QR code generator and barcode maker. Universal QR makes QR codes that look like yours: your colours, your logo, the shape you want. It draws them on your phone as you type, and nothing you put in a code is sent to us.
DESIGN • Colours for the code and its background, gradients, and a separate colour for the three corner squares. • Your logo in the centre, with the modules behind it cleared so the code still scans. • Style presets to start from, then change anything. • Module styles from square to dots, and corner frames and dots to match. • Code shapes: square, rounded, circle, squircle, hexagon or star, with an optional decoration around the edge. • Size and quiet-zone controls, and a transparent background for printing on colour.
WHAT A CODE CAN HOLD • A link or any text, with a check that the link answers. • Wi-Fi details, so guests can join without typing the password. • An email, phone number, text message, contact card, map location or calendar event.
BARCODES • Code 128, EAN-13, UPC-A, Code 39 and ITF-14. The EAN-13 and UPC-A check digit is added for you.
SCAN • Point the camera at a QR code or a 1D barcode. Decoding happens on your phone.
DYNAMIC CODES • Print a code once and change where it points whenever you like, and see how often it is scanned. Needs a Universal ID.
SAVE AND SHARE • Download as PNG, SVG, JPEG or WebP, or save to your photo library. • Show any code full screen so someone can scan it from your phone.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No ads, no tracking, no third-party analytics. • A Universal ID is optional: sign in to back your codes up online and make dynamic codes. You can delete the account from inside the app.
GOOD FOR • A menu, poster or flyer that opens your website. • Wi-Fi for guests, on a card by the door. • A business card that saves your contact details. • Product labels with EAN, UPC or Code 128 barcodes. • An invitation that adds the date to a calendar.
