■ BEFORE YOU START
1. Phone and TV must be on the same Wi-Fi. A 5 GHz phone cannot see a 2.4 GHz TV.
2. Your router may have AP isolation (guest network) turned on.
3. The TV must be powered on, not in deep standby.
4. Some TVs ask you to approve the connection once, on the TV itself.

Casting a file plays it on the TV directly, with no delay. Screen mirroring travels over Wi-Fi, so expect a short lag — fine for photos and slides, not for fast games.
