Verdict

Stop overthinking. Verdict helps you overcome decision fatigue by surfacing a data-backed suggestion — drawn from real charts and curated lists, delivered in a calm editorial voice — so you spend less time spinning and more time doing.

⸻

TWO FLAVOURS, ONE PAPER

Verdict is built around a daily-paper metaphor. Each morning you get a suggestion waiting for you. The masthead shows your edition number and streak. Past suggestions archive themselves into a back catalogue you can revisit any time.

· Small thing — Lunch? Workout? What to watch? What to read? Pick a category and Verdict surfaces one concrete suggestion with a one-line reason. No coin flip; suggestions are sourced from current Netflix Top 10, Spotify Top 50, Rotten Tomatoes editorial guides, Goodreads, Wikipedia, and a dozen other public lists. Real titles, not "watch a documentary."

· Big thing — Thinking about quitting your job? Having a baby? Moving in together? Verdict walks you through 5–6 yes/no questions drawn from real decision-quality research, then offers a data-informed suggestion with the reasoning and one honest caveat. Plus the 10-10-10 horizon check, the framework from Suzy Welch's book of the same name.

WHAT VERDICT IS NOT

· No ads. Verdict will never show you ads. You're not the product.
· No analytics. We don't track your decisions or anything else. No SDKs, no telemetry.
· No account. No sign-up. No email. No password. Open the app and start.
· Nothing leaves your device, ever. Your archive, your settings, your streak — all local.
· No subscription. No premium tier. No paywalls. Free, full-featured, forever.

⸻

DESIGNED LIKE A NEWSPAPER, NOT A UTILITY

Verdict ships with six visual languages — Editorial Paper, Swiss Modernist, Magazine Bold, Soft Pastel, Material Expressive, and Dark Editorial. Each has its own fonts, colour palette, and shape system. Pick the one that feels like your morning paper and switch any time.

Two layouts:

· Conversation — chat-style. The bot asks, you tap, the suggestion lands. Best for first-time use.
· Classic — page-by-page editorial spread. Best when you know exactly what you want.

You can switch layouts whenever. The data, themes, and archive carry across.
