The service from Viper is not so good, there is no instructions on how to install devices for the Z-Wave. I rate the app a 4 out of 5 and Viper service a 3 out of 5

★★☆☆☆ Notifications Just switched from iPhone to android and I am shocked to see that notifications (nor text or email) when alarm is triggered does not work on android!?!?! So how am I suppose to know if the alarm goes off?? Also this app has not been updated since 2013 when created!?!?!

★★☆☆☆ App works fine, but there are other issues First, I haven't had a single issue with my Viper Home Security system. Everything works like it should. However, this review is based on the app and its support. Viper has no plans on updating the app--I've confirmed this with the developer. If you look in the description of the app, you'll see it hasn't been updated since December of 2013 and based on the version number, this app was released and then updated once. To reduce the possibility of bugs and other issues, an app should be updated regularly to meet the needs of new technology/demands of consumers. I've reached out directly to Viper to try and get some understanding on why they've been ignoring this product, especially since they're still selling it on the market--no reply. Absolutely horrendous customer support. Even though the product works fine, it would be nice to have push notifications on my phone, as well as some easier online tools. I don't know, think outside of the box Viper. Try and develop new tools so you can compete with your competitors. With that, I would think twice before purchasing this product. It will most certainly be the last Viper product I will EVER purchase based on its customer support.
