I tried scanning the one in the book, and it didn't work. I scanned the one on the screen of the projector, and it worked. I also had to change chords once or twice, but it finally worked. It's good it actually worked, and it's 20 bucks. It's not great, but it works OK for 20 bucks. Try the QR code on the screen and make sure your chords are good.

OPERATOR ERROR: I understand that all of you are complaining about it not connecting but ALWAYS USE A USB MALE the devices that instruct you to install this all come with a female use a male! And if you don't know what a male is googled does, guys always try alternatives before complaining and tanking the rating, fire app for letting me use my phone projector just do some research guys.

So at first. I scanned the QR Cold and Google didn't allow me to download the app. So what I did was I had to go into settings cut off advance protection then download it. A screen came up and asked if I trust the app. I said yes. App downloaded. After I downloaded I went back into my settings and cut back on advance protection for my Google Pixel 8A. No problems. Does what it's supposed to do

TERRIBLE! I brought the ijoy projector from five below. First, the instructions were very unclear. Then once I finally got into the app it kept saying that my phone wasn't connected. I tried countless times. Just a waste of time and money. It's a cool concept but it doesn't work.

Usb cable that comes with the projector is not a data cable. Only use it for power to the projector. You will need an usb data cable to connect from the USB to the phone. Probably why everyone is struggling as did I to get it to work. They should have made the power cable also a data cable, so it could be used for power or for connecting to the phone. The usb that is supplied with the projector can not connect to the phone.
