Vocera Secure Texting provides a secure, easy to use, alternative to SMS that leverages the Vocera platform to enable HIPAA-compliant secure texting and voice communication between physicians and care teams. It uses Vocera’s synchronized clinical directory, powerful call routing, and workflow capabilities to enable physicians to securely communicate with the extended care team, empowering hospitals to manage and improve overall patient experience and help reduce costs.

• Enables secure, traceable, HIPAA compliant texting between Vocera Secure Texting and Vocera Collaboration Suite users.
• Provides access to a hospital controlled directory of clinical users.
• Enables seamless communication to Vocera wearable Badges including call by name and call by role capabilities.
• Provides ability to set communication preferences and availability.

Can't register App says I need a code to register, but I have no way, or don't know how, to get a code. Please help so I can rate this app appropriately.

Not very user-friendly on androids. No autocorrect. Long texts have no preview (text box does not enlarge). Please update, unfair to androids.

It never notifies me when I get paged which is a patient safety issue. I have to actively check to see if I have gotten paged. I have missed numerous messages sometimes for as long as an hour. I've never found a functional secure texting app. It seems we can only have safety or privacy not both; it's ashame that patient privacy is considered a higher priority than patient safety.
