The Upper Elbe Transport Association (VVO) and the 12 transport companies cooperating with it offer modern local transport for residents and guests in the region. The area covered by the association, which covers an area of around 4,800 km², includes the state capital Dresden as well as the districts of Meißen, Sächsische Schweiz-Osterzgebirge and the western part of the district of Bautzen.

A good start Much better than the old DVB app. Would be nice to have the Handy Ticket integrated rather than as a web link.

I don't get it, why do I have to register to buy tickets? I don't need to do it in order to use a ticket machine or with other transport companies apps. Most importantly, letting me use the app, search connections, etc., and telling me I must register to buy a ticket when I actually try to do it, 3 minutes before the train, is _not_ a good time. And even so, why can't I use my Google account, and instead I have to provide you all that personal info you don't need to sell me a damn ticket?
