Honestly, this is the best meditation and mindfulness app I've used. The amount of content is fantastic, and the introductory course with Sam Harris teaches why around how meditation works, setting it apart from other apps. I would highly recommend it.

Love it! And I love Sam Harris! No human being has ever had a greater impact on me than him, and no piece of technology has ever improved my well-being as much as the Waking Up app. I have formed a daily meditation practice over the last few years because of this app, and it has dramatically changed my life. Also, I live well below the poverty line and am extremely grateful for the discounted subscription. I'd never be able to afford it otherwise. Thank you, Sam, and thank you Waking Up Team 🙏

30 day trial or 15 day trial, both confusingly offered. Does not feel authentic once the app opened. Still waiting for a meditation app that doesn't immediately upsell or require a credit card to try. Promo said no credit card required for trial. That was a lie. Paywall for trial required a credit card. So their promo felt very dishonest.

Tbh . The one star might be a bit unfair. It is just I expected too much from an app from Sam Harris. Unfortunately the app falls short. I used it for the 14 days but Sam Harris is a VERY bad narrator for meditation. He talks too fast. Too much. And uses a complex language that literally snaps your out of meditation. Finally, the cost is prohibitive. It is more than double the much better alternatives. Hence, the 1 star. I hope someone sees this review and checks alternatives before pay

Wanted to try it, but hit the paywall straight away. Dear Sam Harris, you've got a lot to offer, no doubt. But where has your meditation taken you if you are still driven by greed, fear and/or lack of generosity? And with your level of knowledge, aren't you familiar with the research that has identified that there's a tipping point where more income doesn't make you happier, in fact it can make you less happy? It's in the middle range, and I'm sure you've got that much already. You lost me....
