Great app but I think the distance is not absolutely correct. A few meters different from Google Maps. But anyway like to use this app while walking

I've used this app over the last two years to track and record my location on country walks then revisit tracing my path with friends. It's accurate on locations and stats when comparing it to my friends devices. I've not noted the accuracy step counter as it's the distance and circuit I need to track. GPS works offline on flight mode which saves on battery life and the tracking works perfectly in the pocket however there is a downside. You can't name the locations of the walks.

Not so good. Nice interface... when it works. I walk occasionally but, most of the time, only the first couple of meters are logged. I don't check the app until the end of my walk only to find that the app has stopped logging and has randomly picked some obscure location to stop.

If you turn off Wi-Fi, the app takes a LONG time to update its path, so the GPS blue dot is far off the end of the red line. When the path is eventually updated, it's marked as a straight line which can be wrong. This brings 2 issues: (1) the Wi-Fi checking should be done in a different thread from the path update thread and (2) why does the app check Wi-Fi in the first place? It's not about net access: I had mobile data on and the same problem happened. Is it mapping hotspots without telling us?
