Lots of negativity for this app when actually if I'm on the canal it's something I rely on. It's great for letting you know the bridges, the locks, water stops, waste/rubbish, moorings, the general route of the canal, tunnels, possible issues with the canal/tow-path, marinas etc. The route planner needs to be taken with a large pinch of salt as its estimated time is quite out ie it said 32 mins, and it actually took 1hr30 :) Brilliant app for on the canals.

Good app. You CAN save plotted journeys (or I can). Very handy to have. Won't supersede the maps, it's not quite a SatNav but still very helpful.

Disappointed that your flag for the England and Wales data download is the English flag only. Wales is not England 🏴. I would suggest that you have the English and Welsh flags side by side. 🏴 🏴. This is important to many people.

Edit: Apparently it's my device at fault! It's a Google Pixel running the latest Android!! Please could you extend your 'seamless' testing to those? Route planning still doesn't work. Shows only a gray screen.

Using it for 5 min and it won't stop requesting my location. Seeing as how im not on the water right now how does that help me? Let me choose when you have access to my location. I want to look at my routrs without the need to waste more data sending you my location when it isn't needed.

The Route Planner timings should include a filter for swing bridge delays as well as locks. It appears also to ignore the speed selected - I plotted a 1.2 m route and got exactly the calculated same time at 6mph as I did 2mph. Shame because this otherwise beats Open Canal Map hands down
