Drive Change is a telematics auto insurance program that rewards safe driving. This app monitors your driving behaviours and calculates a score for each trip you take. Through safe driving habits you can qualify for a discount on your Wawanesa insurance premium. Use of this app requires an eligible Wawanesa Insurance auto policy and an activation code. Some updates happened, and the app is tolerable now. My battery still lasts all day, so it's not draining any significant battery. It doesn't punish too hard for going 10 km/h over the limit. And regular turns aren't being recognized as high G maneuvers anymore. Still unable to get the 98 score I had in the earlier version of the app, but whatever.

Drains battery also vary bad recording for driving. Does not let you drive normal as you have to drive so carefully you will end up in an accident as to why I think they have this app to help get more accidents on the road

This app eats my battery. I've only had this phone for 3 weeks and the battery is already shot. I've deleted this app and will not be using it anymore. Plus you can't drive after sunset, or it tells you it's too late. You'd tube 1 km over the speed limit, and it deducts "points". Not worth the discount.

This app is constantly dedecting trips even when phone is just sitting still. It draws crazy amout of battery.

Want to drive home at 3pm? Well be prepared to lose your discount because that's unsafe. Stuck in stop and go traffic? Well time to lose your discount Because that's unsafe. App says your speeding but doesn't want to say when and where, guess you lose your discount. I was an almost perfect 98 score driver on the old app. Now I can't even hit 60 on a trip. Terrible, going to have to change providers since I can't even turn on my car without losing my score.
