I think the app is much improved since I first installed it a few years ago, and I like that I can update trips to correct the driver/passenger/not a trip category. It can get the locations wrong, so sometimes you need to have an idea of where you were that day. But I'm really enjoying the discount on my policy - luckily, I have never been one to talk OR TEXT while I'm driving. Thumbs up!

UPDATED VERSION STILL NOT REGISTERING. I've called 10+TIMES concerning this app not recording my drive time. Technical support with USAA can't fix my issue. I need to be able to receive my driving discounts and this is a major problem. Someone needs to fix this. This malfunction app made me lose my earned driving discount. As of 6/21/2026, the app is still not recording my drive time. AS OF 7/31/2026, THE APP IS STILL NOT RECORDING MY TRIPS RIGHT. IT SHOWS YOU GOING BUT NOT RETURNING.

I love a discount but, the app uses a lot of battery life. It will not properly run if your phone goes into battery saving mode. I also do not like the updates for logging on. It should be simple and fast, not requiring extra verification and passwords. Too much. It took me 20 minutes to log on today waiting for verification, where it takes ten seconds to log on to my banking app...

Version 4.0 won't let me log on. I've researched all the tricks and still unable to log into my account. I refuse to do biometrics--that is excessive. The app still seems to be recording my trips, since I get the notifications after I stop driving. Also, I have to keep babysitting it to make sure it is still running in the background. I have not had issues with my battery being drained. Not sure if it is worth this constant maintenance if I don't get a substantial discount
