When I need to know what's going on for the day or the week sometimes it's hard to find it on tv, but I know all I have to do is pull up my live 5 weather on my phone which is always right beside me, well, it's just very comforting and lets me plan things during the week ahead. The app was great until the update. They changed the setup to add a lot more ads.

Lot less hassle to just load the site online. The app sends excessive notifications and when you clear them it immediately resends them at least 3 times before giving up. Then suddenly it started announcing all notices out loud (at all hours) or just loudly announcing I should" head on over to take a look at the newest alert", which usually is just the normal forecast. Had to search the app settings to block that feature... Which still seems like it should need permission for first

Radar does not match weather outside. Hourly and daily predictions differ substantially from tv reports.
