It's so much more than just a weather app... I mean you can get the weather from many sources. For me the best part is some of the extra features such as Marina listings and what they offer. I do a lot of boating throughout Ontario's inland lakes, and it's nice to know where to be able to get fuel, have lunch, get to a marine or general store if need be or who has transients slips available. Trip planning is a cool feature... more people should be submitting these on a regular basis, but I get it... most people are lazy and don't think anything will happen to them (until it does!) Long gone are the days of filling out a piece of paper and leaving it with someone that may or may not lose it... now everything is digital, can be set up ahead of time and submitted at the tap of a button and the app takes care of the emergency contacting for you. Wish that more people would use the "Rules of the Road' feature as well... a lot of boaters out there, especially "Newbies" that don't have a clue what they are doing... THIS FEATURE IS FOR YOU!! Also, safety equipment... for the people that care and follow the rules, this is a great 'at your fingertips' reminder of what is needed for your particular vessel and can come in handy for both new and seasoned boaters alike. No App is perfect and there is always room for improvement, that's just a given, and I'm sure it will improve as time goes on... I mean Rome wasn't built in a day right... or so we've been told. So, it seems to me a really good effort has been made to make this more than just weather and bring some pretty cool extra features to the users boating experience and for that alone I'm going to give 5 Stars

Great tool that just may save lives. I see a lot of people heading onto the lake without accounting for how quick our lake can turn.

Horrible if you want to wind direction and wave heights. Gives wind speed with a diamond shaped pointer. Is the wind from the North or South can't tell. The pointer is the same on both ends.

The most useless app ever. It is the Weather Canada marine forecast. It doesn't save your area...so, you have to click multiple times to get there and many times provide no wind speed. It will say "light winds"... What does that mean? Oh, and, it's wrong more often than not.
