Tile taps never silently execute protected actions. Confirmation requirements remain in place from the Tile and on retries.

CLEAR RESULTS, NOT BLIND TAPS

WebHookDeck reports HTTP status, request duration and readable errors for failures such as timeouts, DNS problems, SSL errors, authentication failures, rate limits and server errors. Response previews are bounded and sanitized before display or storage.

SECURITY BUILT FOR REAL WEBHOOKS

• Secret values are encrypted at rest with Android Keystore-backed encryption
• Sensitive headers, tokens and webhook paths are redacted from logs and previews
• HTTPS certificate validation cannot be disabled
• Sensitive headers are stripped when redirects change origin
• Exports exclude secrets unless you explicitly include them
• An emergency control can disable watch actions
• Android backup is disabled for WebHookDeck app data

Plain HTTP is supported for user-configured LAN and homelab endpoints. WebHookDeck warns when a connection is unencrypted and recommends HTTPS outside trusted local networks.

LOCAL-FIRST

No WebHookDeck account is required. There is no WebHookDeck cloud backend, advertising SDK, developer-operated analytics or crash reporting.

Your action configuration and run history stay on your devices. Watch-enabled actions sync between your Android phone and paired Wear OS watch through the Wear OS Data Layer. Requests are sent directly to the endpoints you configure.
