What A Waste

What A Waste is a food management app against food waste in your household. It keeps track of what is in your fridge and pantry, what still needs buying, and what ended up in the bin, so the same things stop going off unnoticed.

Add items from the built in catalog of everyday foods or create your own, and each one gets an expiry date from its shelf life. Things move from the shopping list into your storage as you shop, and when you take something out the app asks the question that matters: did you actually use it? Whatever you did not becomes part of your waste statistics.

Keep a digital shopping list the whole household shares
See everything in your storage with its expiry date at a glance
Sort by name, date or quantity, as a flat list or grouped by shelf
Mark what is left as full, half or low instead of guessing
Track what gets thrown away and watch the share go down over time
Add household members with their allergies and diets
Build your own catalog on top of the default items

One account covers the whole household. Share the login with the people you live with and everyone sees the same lists on their own device. There are no ads, no subscription and no tracking.
