Description
The WHO Medication Safety app will guide you through the five key moments where your action can reduce the risk of medication-related harm. These five moments for Medication Safety are the key moments where action by the patient or caregiver can greatly reduce the risk of harm associated with the use of their medication/s. Each moment includes five critical questions. Some are self-reflective for the patient and some require support from a health care professional to be answered and reflected upon correctly.
This app is intended to engage patients in their own care in a more active way, to encourage their curiosity about the medications they are taking, and to empower them to communicate openly with their health care professionals. It is also intended for use by patients, family members and caregivers, with the help of health care professionals, at all levels of care and across all settings.

★★☆☆☆
App is basically useless for the most part. It even contains broken weblinks within it to WHO resources that don't even exist anymore. It's sad to see. What is really needed is a global, international medication side effect reporting platform for patients to report aftermarket issues. The FDAs Medwatch is inefective, sloppy, hard to use, confusing and conflicting, and altogether not effective at all. Patients need this and nobody is doing it. The US needs this too.
