Description

This app is a companion app which should be installed on the phone and it will facilitate the start of Android Auto in wireless mode for those users who use Headunit Reloaded or AAGateWay.

This app CANNOT be used to gain Wireless Android Auto connection to different cars and head units, it is only to be used with the above mentioned apps.

For Android 10 and above users please make sure you allow access to location all the time, otherwise app will not be able to detected Wifi networks from the background.

Also Android 10 users you will need to grant DRAW OVER OTHER apps permission, without the permission app can't start Android Auto from the background.

Great app — it makes wireless Android Auto connection much easier and works reliably. One feature request: Please add an Android App Shortcut (long-press shortcut) to directly start the Wi-Fi launcher / connection. This would allow integration with to automate the full flow: - Turn on Wi-Fi - Trigger the app shortcut - Start connection automatically when entering the car Right now Wi-Fi has to be enabled manually before using the app, so this shortcut would make the experience fully seamless.

On my S23u running One UI 8.0 (Android 16), HUR works well with Modes & Routines app from Samsung to turn hotspot when BT connected. Then auto start run Wi-Fi launcher. Is the app supporting S25u?

Unfortunately doesn't work, keeps telling me I need to turn off battery optimizations but on the latest version of Android that's not an option.

Not working with android auto version 16.3, 16.4, 16.5, for everyone who stumbled with no response from HU Reloaded or Wi-Fi Launcher crashed, try to downgrade to 16.2. Dev, please update the compatibility issue, thanks.
