It's a fantastic app with loads of great detailed info. However, when I try and get it to show sites near me or use a location search it only shows sites in London on the Thames! The only way I can get log info if by choosing the relevant chapter in the index

Photos please! I have the book but thought this would be more convenient and as the book is so good thought the app would be worth the price. However, they are none of the great photos included in the book to show you what you could be looking for, just a space for you to upload your own. The information on each location is a bit clunky and just generally a poor relation to what is a great book!

Buy the book, but don't bother with the app. The book is great, with good directions and all the sites we have visits so far have been worth the trip. The app contains the same locations as the book plus some new ones. HOWEVER...we have tried several of the app only locations and so far have found a miserable puddle, an ankle deep river and several spots very clearly marked private land, no trespassing etc. Unable to mark spots as not recommended or leave notes in the app. Disappointed 😥

Disappointing Already have the book but purchased app thinking it would be convenient to you information when travelling. The app is slow and crashes when you try and zoom in on the overview map. Stick with the book. It has more locations in. Disappointing considering the not inexpensive cost of the app!
