Yarnline: Knitting WIP Tracker

Type in the names of the things you're making right now, and watch your works in progress lay themselves out on a Gantt timeline — what you cast on when, and how far along each one is, all on a single screen.

No knitter has just one WIP. Yarnline is a knitting and crochet project tracker built around that truth: one timeline, many projects. Each bar shows real elapsed time — not an inflated progress percentage.

What you can do
• Gantt timeline: active, hibernating, finished, and frogged projects side by side as bars on one screen
• Cast-on queue: jot down what you want to make next, and move it onto the timeline the moment you cast on
• Finished object cards: when you bind off, your photo plus yarn, needle, and pattern details become a shareable card
• Home screen widget: your project bars, right on your phone's first screen
• Deadline reminders for gift knitting: a gentle nudge a week out and the day before
• Project notes: yarn (brand, colorway, weight), needle and hook sizes, pattern, gauge, milestones, and a row counter
• Backup and restore: export everything to a JSON file and bring it back anytime

What Yarnline promises
• Fully local — your projects and photos never leave your phone. No account, no server, no analytics
• Guilt-free record keeping — no warnings on a project you haven't touched in months. Hibernating and frogging are just part of knitting
• Free — no ads, no in-app purchases

From cast on to bind off, keep every project on one thread. That's Yarnline.

Recent changes:
1.1: bring your whole history over, and gifts get a name on the flag.

Import from spreadsheets or Ravelry: pick a CSV file or a Ravelry export (JSON). WIPs land on the timeline, finished objects in the gallery. No network used.

Gift knitting: add a recipient and occasion, and the name shows by the goal-date flag, with a gift line on the finished object card.

Photo dots: each photo you add leaves a small dot on that day's bar, so the timeline doubles as a photo diary.
