I understand that there is not enough information about the government's yellow card scheme as the true figures are shown of deaths and side effects of the covid vaccine.

The app was updated in January 2026, so it seems that most complaints about it have been resolved. I managed to submit a report without any issues. I received confirmation both in the app and via email. Date input is now by a drop-down for year, month and day. Fields have picked lists, but free text is also possible.

Couldn't register properly. I didn't trust it, no app of any note is that difficult to share your side effects as requested. Quicker & more reliable to ring the clinic. Will be reporting my findings. Uninstalled immediately.

Cannot create an account. A telephone number is required. Whether I input my mobile or landline nothing is accepted. Therefore, I cannot use the app to report ADRs

Not user-friendly, so people won't submit reports of side effects, so the database can't be reliable. But the "Continue as guest" button does nothing, doesn't even "blink" to acknowledge a tap. (I'm on a new phone and have lost my password.) I only wanted a quick look at one medication, but I'll have to find my way to the website... when I get round to it. Unlikely! Tragic; this could, should, be as invaluable to the NHS (and save professionals' time answering questions!) as to individuals.

This app could have been good, but why have date of birth field as a calendar (that can only be changed month-by month, with manual entry not allowed). That's the most ridiculous system I've ever seen and lazy programming. I gave up with COVID-19 vaccine my report after it took me two minutes just to go back five years. Please fix the date of birth field.
