The dashcam needs to manually connect to the phonein order to get the current date. Every time when engine start, the time are back to 2017. You need to update and correct this. Other than this are all fine. The camera are functioning and record with clear screen.

Used to work great. I was very pleased with this dash camera. Now I keep getting "video playback error" when trying to view videos. I've formatted the SD Card and it didn't fix anything. I feel like the app needs an update or the camera does, and there's no way to contact Yi directly. I wish I would've gotten a different dash camera now. What a waste of money. Yi nightscape isn't even listed on the site for firmware updates. Thanks Yi.

I used to love this dashcam but have not been able to access the videos with the app for awhile now. Says connection failed even though it shows I'm connected to it via WiFi. I've tried restarting the camera, uninstalling and reinstalling the app....nothing! Very frustrating because I am trying view a recording. Unfortunately this looks like a common issue. I guess it's time to look for a new dashcam and update my review of the dashcam on Amazon....assuming they are even selling it still.
