★★★★★ It works. I just tested this out after buying two portable anemometers on Amazon that continue to show very low readings. This app nailed the speed bang on and now I gotta wonder if I just have to convert the numbers from the Kestrel unit into right zone somehow. I can't wait to make my YouTube review on these anemometers. Thanks, Jared from Canadian Prairie Storms. I am buying the pro version now and will update my review on that app with link to the future video.

★★★★★ Very good app, use it at work where i need to record wind on the beauford scale. Having to convert to mph is no real hardship.

★★☆☆☆ This app determines wind speed by what it hears so if you're inside of a building it's not going to tell you the wind speed outside of the building it's a total piece of s*** and even if you're outside how to f*** is it going to determine wind speed by what it hears it does not base off of anemometer readings in your area total garbage ... Your apt is nothing but a novelty the only thing it's good for is seeing who can get the highest wind speed by blowing into the microphone

★★☆☆☆ Malware? I have had it installed for a few mouths but on my last scan avast security informed me that this app contains malware so have uninstalled. Seemed okay until then though.

★★☆☆☆ INACCURATE. It says my box fan is blowing 40 mph on LOW. Calibration??? LOL. Yeah that didn't work either.

★★☆☆☆ I see no reason to need access to my photos and Media. Or record audio.
