AspectScope: Pro Film Camera

AspectScope turns your iPhone into a focused cinematic framing camera for filmmakers, photographers and visual storytellers.

Choose your aspect ratio before you shoot, keep the area outside the frame darkened, and create compositions designed for film, social video and vertical stories.

ASPECT MASTER
Save a standard 16:9 video master while preserving the selected cinematic frame, guide treatment and AspectScope identity. Portrait photos can use 2.39:1, 16:9, 4:3 or 1:1 framing inside a vertical 9:16 master.

CINEMATIC FRAMING
• 2.39:1 widescreen framing
• 16:9 video framing
• 4:3 classic and Open Gate framing
• 1:1 square framing
• Darkened outside-frame monitoring
• Rule-of-thirds guides and a minimal horizon level

PRO CAMERA CONTROL
• Real iPhone camera capture — not screenshots
• Photo and video modes
• Manual ISO, shutter speed and white balance controls
• Tap-to-focus inside the active frame
• Multiple camera lenses when supported by the device
• Device-supported resolution, frame-rate, codec and stabilization options

COLOR WORKFLOW
• Photo filters and cinematic looks
• LUT monitoring for video
• Import compatible .cube LUT files from Files
• Apple Log monitoring options on supported iPhone models

OPEN GATE
On compatible devices and camera formats, Open Gate uses the largest supported 4:3 image area and simplifies the interface to that active sensor format.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
AspectScope does not require an account and does not collect personal data. Photos, videos, settings and imported LUT files remain on your device.
