El BID comunica de forma activa, ràpida i segura les 13 cambres catalanes, el Consell de Cambres, els centres de formació professional i els serveis centrals i les delegacions territorials del Departament d’Ensenyament.
El BID, com a eina de gestió, actua com una intranet. Té, per tant, un accés restringit als diferents agents.
Aquesta aplicació es troba limitada a usuaris del centre docent perquè omplin els formularis de l'aplicació.
