Every dose you give or take goes on the record with one tap. The ring on Today fills as the day goes on; the week shows what was taken, skipped or missed. The readings the medicines are taken for sit right beside them. And before a doctor's visit, Brief turns the record into one clear page the doctor can read in a minute.
— THE DAY, AT A GLANCE —
• A reminder for each dose, at the times you set
• Answer from the notification: Taken, Skip, or remind me in 15 minutes
• Ring like an alarm: for the medicines you choose, an alarm at each dose time, even on silent or in a Focus
• Today's ring, a tile per medicine, and the next dose above the tab bar with its own Taken button
• Forgot to tap? Open any day of the week and set it straight
— EVERY MEDICINE, YOUR WAY —
• Name, dose and form: tablet, capsule, liquid, injection, drops, inhaler or patch — with name suggestions as you type
• Times, instructions ("with food", "before bed") and a color of its own
• A count of how many are left, and how long the supply lasts at its schedule
• As-needed medicines, logged when they're taken
• Skip a dose and say why — the reason goes on the doctor's page
— READINGS —
• Blood pressure, blood sugar, weight, heart rate, temperature and oxygen, in a tap
• Each on its own chart, with the latest and the average; every reading listed
• Your units: lb or kg, °F or °C, mg/dL or mmol/L
• Readings are typed in by you. Brief measures nothing and judges nothing.
— THE DOCTOR'S PAGE —
• A one-page medication record (PDF): doses taken and missed, each medicine with its times, your readings as small charts, and your questions — dated, and marked as a record you kept, not medical advice
• See a sample page before you make your own
• A checklist the day before each appointment
• Appointments, doctors, documents and questions for the doctor in one place
• On iPhones with Apple Intelligence: paste or scan an after-visit summary and read it in plain English, processed on the device
— INSIGHTS —
• Doses taken over 7 days, or 30 with Premium: the week medicine by medicine, by time of day, and why doses were skipped
— PRIVATE BY DESIGN —
No account. No cloud. No sharing. Brief has no server: what you enter is stored on this iPhone, and the only things that leave it are what you choose to share, print or export.
— FREE —
• Unlimited medicines, reminders, alarms, dose logging and readings
• The last 7 days of insights and reading charts
• One doctor's page a month
• One plain-English after-visit summary a month
— PREMIUM —
$4.99 a month, or $39.99 a year with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers (US prices; the App Store shows the price in your country).
• 30 days of insights and reading charts
• The last four weeks, day by day, to open and set straight
• A breakdown for each medicine
• Refill reminders: a notification when a medicine reaches the level you set
• Unlimited doctor's pages and plain-English summaries
Brief keeps the record. It does not give medical advice, interpret readings, calculate doses or check interactions. Check with a doctor or pharmacist before changing any medicine.
Requires iOS 26 or later. The plain-English summary needs an iPhone with Apple Intelligence.
