Empathic

Empathic interprets the emotions of non-verbal people as they vocalise. Just record a non-verbal person for up to 10 seconds and artificial intelligence (AI) will tell you how they are feeling.

To use Empathic just record up to 10 seconds of a non-verbal person's vocalisations. Our proprietary AI analyses the sound and interprets up to 10 emotions, such as happy or confused. You can also review your archive of recordings and play them to help educate others about how each non-verbal person communicates their feelings.

As a Primary Carer, you can add up to three non-verbal individuals in the app. You can also help to enhance the AI. As you record, Empathic creates an archive so that you can teach others how each person sounds when they are experiencing emotions such as excitement or frustration. You can invite up to 20 Companion users to join your account without charge. Typically a Companion user is anyone who does not always understand the non-verbal person’s communications.

Companions can use Empathic to better understand how the non-verbal person feels but they cannot enhance the AI. Companions do not need a subscription to Empathic app; however, they must register and receive an invitation from a Primary Carer. As a Primary Carer, you can review all the recordings made by the Companion users you add to your Empathic account.

Information on Subscriptions

1. Subscription Pricing & Billling
You can subscribe to become a Primary Carer within the application after registering your account and logging in.

2. Subscription Content
Subscribers can:
- Add up to 3 Service Users
- Add up to 20 Companions
- Add unlimited audio recordings

Functionality built specifically to be used by Companions does not require a subscription.

3. Auto Renewals
The Primary Carer subscription automatically renews via your iTunes account. Application users can manage their subscription through their iTunes/Apple ID Settings. The subscription will auto-renew for the next billing period if auto-renew is not turned off at least 24 hours before the current subscription expires.

4. Subscription Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription through the Settings app on your device. After opening the Settings app, tap on your account name at the top. Then, tap Subscriptions and then tap on the Empathic logo. Once you are viewing the Empathic Primary Carer subscription, you can click 'Cancel Subscription' to cancel your Empathic subscription.
