ID Scanner: Bar Age Verify turns your iPhone into a fast, reliable ID checkpoint for bars, clubs, dispensaries, smoke shops, liquor stores and events.

Point the camera at the PDF417 barcode on the back of any US or Canadian driver's license or state ID. In about a second you get a full-screen verdict you can read at arm's length in a dark doorway: green when the guest meets your age threshold, red when they are under age or the document is expired.

AN HONEST TOOL
ID Scanner decodes the data inside the barcode and calculates age. It cannot determine whether a document is genuine, and we will never claim otherwise. The app also flags internal data inconsistencies, such as an expiry date before the issue date, so you can take a closer look.

Your first 10 scans are completely free, with the full verdict screen included. Premium unlocks unlimited scans, the front cross-check, VIP and banned lists, and CSV export. Premium is available as a weekly subscription with a 3-day free trial, or as a single annual subscription.

This app offers a weekly subscription with a 3-day free trial, and an annual subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings.
