Running Route Planner: LoopRun

Tired of running or riding the same streets, or driving somewhere just to find a route? LoopRun builds a fresh running or cycling route from wherever you are, for exactly the distance you want, and brings you back to where you started.

Pick Run or Ride, set your distance, choose a shape, and tap once. LoopRun maps loops on real roads and paths using Apple Maps, then hands you a few options to choose from.

WHY RUNNERS AND RIDERS LOVE IT
- Loop routes that start and finish at your location
- Out-and-back routes when you want a simple turnaround
- Ride mode plans cycling loops on bike-friendly roads and paths (where Apple Maps offers cycling directions)
- Choose your distance: 1 to 30 km for runs, up to 100 km for rides (or miles)
- Head any direction, or point it north, south, east or west
- Several route options every time, so you never repeat yourself
- Distance and a rough run-time estimate at a glance
- Start your run or ride in the app: live map, upcoming-turn guidance, pace or speed, distance and remaining
- Voice cues speak upcoming turns, distance milestones and off-route warnings, timed for your speed
- Pause and resume any time; breaks never count toward your time or distance
- History: every run and ride saved on your phone with distance, time and pace or speed
- Off-route warning brings you back to the loop
- Choose kilometers or miles in Settings

TAKE IT WITH YOU
Export any route as a GPX file and load it straight onto your Garmin, Apple Watch, Coros, Suunto or Strava. Save your favorites and open them again any time.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your routes and runs stay on your device. LoopRun has no account, no analytics and no tracking.

PERFECT FOR
- Exploring a new city or neighborhood on foot
- Hitting an exact training distance (5K, 10K, long run)
- Breaking out of the same old loop
