WORK PRIVATELY
PDF Scanner does not operate a document upload server. PDF tools process files on your device. Optional iCloud Drive uses your Apple iCloud account; otherwise files stay in local storage. No app login is required.

HARDWARE AND TOOL LIMITS
Camera scanning uses an iPhone or iPad camera. Network scanning requires compatible AirScan/eSCL hardware; AirPrint support alone does not guarantee scanner compatibility. Mac printing uses Apple’s system print dialog. Printing and discovery depend on the printer and network.

ID Copy uses cropped images or supported iPhone/iPad scans, fitted proportionally within standard card-sized slots. Choose 100% print scale for card-sized printing. ID Copy does not verify identity. Mac supports image import, not camera scanning.

Signatures are visible annotations, not certificate-based digital signatures. Watermark tools remove supported annotations or mask selected photo/video regions; they do not recover content hidden beneath flattened watermarks. Only edit content you own or have permission to modify.

Camera scanning, ID Copy, PDF import/reading, photos-to-PDF, sharing and printing are free. Advanced tools require PDF Scanner Pro: monthly, quarterly or yearly auto-renewable subscriptions, or a one-time lifetime purchase. All plans unlock the same Pro tools. The App Store shows localized prices and terms before purchase. Restore purchases in Settings.
