Greater Creative is a group of Blackwell Parish residents who came together in 2019 to creatively commemorate and celebrate people and place. Together with Platform Thirty1 (local community arts organisation) and AT Creative they developed Roots to Routes, funded by Creative Civic Change and later the Heritage Lottery Fund.
This app features many stories, facts and hyperlocal knowledge we’ve collated about Blackwell Parish’s roots. It shares them whilst you explore the walking trails we’ve developed with local residents, and truly takes you on a journey into our area’s rich industrial past.
This app makes use of GPS to show you places of interest close to your current location. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
