Tactic Remote: AI Coding

Keep your compatible AI coding agents within reach from iPhone and iPad. Start work on your computer, then continue the conversation, follow live terminal output, review changes, and respond when your agent needs attention.

YOU BRING THE AGENT
Install, sign in to, and configure a supported command-line coding agent on your own computer. Tactic Remote connects to that environment; it does not provide an AI model or agent account. Compatible agents include Claude Code, Codex, Amp, and Droid.

CHAT AND LIVE TERMINAL
Use a focused chat view with Markdown, syntax-highlighted code, and streaming responses, or open the full terminal with live ANSI output. Switch between agents without leaving the session.

USAGE AT A GLANCE
When supported, see current usage and plan limits for the account signed in on your computer. The desktop server reads the usage status locally and sends the result to your paired device.

SESSIONS, FILES, AND GIT
Move between persistent tmux sessions and project folders. Browse files, inspect TODOs and file activity, and review Git changes from the side panel.

VOICE, SNIPPETS, AND ALERTS
Dictate with Apple Speech, on-device Whisper, or optional Cloud STT. Reuse command snippets and receive a notification when work needs you or finishes.

QUICK CONNECTION
Pair with the macOS companion app by QR code. Connect on your local network or through a Cloudflare Tunnel you configure, without manually exposing a port.

MADE FOR IPHONE AND IPAD
Use a compact phone workflow or an iPad split view with sidebars, expanded panels, and keyboard shortcuts.

PRIVACY AND CONTROL
Core project traffic follows the connection you configure between your devices. Tactic Remote does not send your code, prompts, terminal output, file paths, or project names to product analytics. Optional pseudonymous analytics can be disabled in Settings. Cloud speech uploads audio only when you choose that option; on-device speech options are also available. Protect the app with Face ID or Touch ID.

A compatible Mac, Linux, or Windows server setup is required. Agent availability and usage data depend on the installed agent and signed-in account.
