Theine

Theine keeps your Mac awake, hides your desktop icons, and dims the background around your active window. Three features, one purpose: a Mac that puts your task in focus, whether you’re working or presenting.

KEEP AWAKE
Prevent your Mac from falling asleep, dimming the screen, or starting the screensaver. Theine keeps macOS awake, just like caffeine keeps you: for a set time, or indefinitely. Essential for binge watching, presentations, video calls, renders, and long-running tasks.

HIDE DESKTOP
One click clears the stage. Theine covers all desktop icons and widgets with an image, blur, or color for a clean, presentable screen. Elevates your screen sharing, screenshots, and recordings, or simply keeps things tidy whenever your work deserves an empty desk.

FOCUS DIM
Theine dims everything behind your active window or app. Distractions fade, your work stays bright. Perfect for writing, coding, and working across large or multiple displays.

Theine cannot prevent sleep when used on a closed MacBook with no additional display connected.

DESIGNED, NOT ASSEMBLED
Theine is a rare kind of good, honest software: lovingly designed and thought through down to the smallest detail. Built independently and with the greatest care. You can feel the difference. I’m Martin Lexow, and I look forward to your feedback → martin@appahead.studio
