A purpose-built camera pipeline with the torch and auto-macro focus reads the PDF417 barcode the moment it's in frame. No clunky hardware, no "hold still and wait."

— PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE —
The PDF417 scanner reads the barcode without taking a still photo. In Manual Entry, you can optionally scan the front of an ID to suggest name, date of birth, and expiry with on-device OCR. One captured frame stays in memory only during recognition, then is destroyed. You confirm every suggestion against the physical ID. No ID image or raw license number is stored. Repeat, VIP, and banned guests are recognised by an irreversible issuer-scoped digest of the license number.

Records stay on your iPhone unless you explicitly export a report or transfer a list. Nothing goes to a Verigate cloud. No account. No analytics. The app's only network use is Apple's App Store for your purchase.

Choose Quick Scan for fast age and expiry checks. When you need an admission record, enable Admit/Deny and set an event, saved venue or one-off location, door, and staff member. The ID result, Ban/VIP status, and operator decision remain separate facts. Rename a door later and the earlier record still keeps its original context.

Scan, get age, expiry, and possible-fake results, set your age threshold (18+, 21+, or custom), receive the default passback warning, record Admit/Deny decisions, and keep an on-device History log — free. If a barcode is worn or unsupported, enter the guest manually or use optional on-device OCR to fill the form.

• Detailed fake-ID report — see which AAMVA consistency checks passed or failed behind a possible-fake warning.
• VIP & ban list management — add people manually or import a CSV with a built-in template and review step. Saved entries and warnings remain visible if Premium ends.
• Safe matching — review possible name-and-date-of-birth matches before linking a scanned ID; Verigate never merges people automatically.
• Insights — checks, decisions, busiest times, and breakdowns by event, location, door, and staff.

Verigate Premium is an auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at purchase confirmation. It renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged within 24 hours before renewal. Manage or cancel any time in your App Store account settings. Lifetime is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
