Document-based, built for Files
Create as many documents as you like—each one is a self-contained workspace that holds your chats, images, maps, and PDFs. Save locally or in iCloud Drive, organize in folders, duplicate, rename, share copies, and keep your own backups. It’s your content, stored as files you control.

What you can do

· Chats: Write, map real locations, and create images—watch visuals build in real time.
· Thinking mode: Turn on for deeper, multi-step answers that plan, compare, and follow longer instructions.
· Chat with Characters: Pick a character and talk through any topic.
· Chat with Files: Choose a PDF, ask questions, or get summaries; great for big docs with Thinking.
· Text Actions: Refine, shorten, rewrite, and Translate—one line or whole batches.
· Built-In Tools: Optional Weather and Map go online briefly; everything else stays local. Contacts is off by default.
