Fast Web Install

By installing the "fast web install" Android app, AppBrain enables you to directly install apps from the web. [Demo video]

To enable this feature, follow these steps:

  1. Download "Fast Web Install" from the Android market.
  2. This program asks you for permission to push applications to your phone. AppBrain will never get access to your gmail account, only to a login token that's necessary for the pushing of the apps. If you have an older version of Android, we cannot access this token directly and you have to fill out the google account credentials. This has to be the exact same Google account as the one that was used to activate the Android phone.
  3. Sign up for AppBrain. Creating an account is easy, use the "Sign in" link at the top right of this page. If you already have an account, proceed to the next step.
  4. Make sure the "AppBrain App Market" app is installed on your phone. Open this app, go to "Manage my apps" and click the "Sync with AppBrain" button.
  5. Now try it! Click the big blue "Install" button on any app page and the download should immediately start on your phone.
