Looks like a good App but please let us choose what folders we'd like to sync or backup. It's a little pointless for me like this. I've already got Google Photos and such doing Backups of the normal stuff! Thanks

Google Protect has flagged this as harmful because it needs access to the files it is supposed to back up. Google is wrong. Google keeps deleting permissions to access files needed for backup.

Installed the app, says protected by Google play protect. Then Google play protect flags it as malware because it says "app can spy on your sms, pictures, and data" even if the permissions are not enabled. Not sure which end is the problem, but Bitdefender scans it as safe as does Malware bytes and McAfee. Seems to be a common issue as of 26 June 25.

I've used Acronis on PCs for years. I just now installed mobile backup on my phone, ran it, and it claims "success". (Also, I plan to live forever >) So far, so good. My phone runs in dark mode, thus its white main navigation buttons disappear in the app's white background, but they still work. The PC's "C:\Program Data\Acronis Mobile Backup Data" properties, with "hide protected files" disabled, shows zero bytes. Super-hidden? Or above my pay grade?

I've tried it on different phones, and it always displays the same error about not having connection despite both devices being actively connected to the same network. Absolutely useless to back up your phone, but I haven't had problems backing up my laptop. Still, it's been years, and I still keep getting the same problem. "Done" doesn't even begin to encompass how absolutely exhausted and annoyed I am about this.
