Secure backup is a core functionality within Pocket Geek Mobile which allows you to back up SMS and MMS messages and call logs on your phone. To properly handle messages received while the app is the default messaging app, read and receive SMS and MMS permissions are mandatory. Existing backups are required to restore text messages and call logs.
This app requires access to the following permissions: ● Read and receive SMS and MMS permissions to backup and restore text messages. ● Read and write call log permissions to backup and restore call logs. ● Permissions to read, modify, or delete the contents of your USB storage to backup and restore photos, media, and files. ● Location permission to access your Wi-Fi network details to detect insecure Wi-Fi settings. ● Accessibility permission (AccessibilityService API) in the Web Shield feature that protects you from threats on the web by alerting you when you visit a malicious web site. There's gotta be a way to still back up my stuff when fone isn't chargin, I have a wireless battery bank that I get stuck to the fone with magnetism and my settings to stop chargin at a certain % so there's no reason why it won't back up when it says no ly chargin, will that's because it's full of juice

This is supposed to be spectrum's version of spam protection plan, malware, trogon and virus protection. This is a joke bc it doesn't have anything to do with protecting my phone from spam and viruses. For that reason I give this app 1 star and if I could, I'd give it zero stars. I was told by someone at spectrum that this is what I needed to use to protect my phone from viruses and spam and everything else like that. This doesn't do any of that. If it had that my phone wouldn't be acting so crazy

Comes installed with my galaxy S24 from spectrum, but doesn't have any content for my device. I couldn't find a support button or any way to contact someone to get help with device issues, so I am wondering why this app is even compatible to be installed on the phone. 0/5 for service, 0/5 for ease of use, 0/5 for hospitality and customer support. Trash
