After being let down by the hive engineer (twice) I did some research and found that alpha had their own version. The hardware arrived within 4 days, and I installed it in 20 minutes. The app is a bit basic, but has a nice interface and is intuitive to set up.

The app is quite basic and takes a bit of time to get used to, but it works a treat and. Easy to install the hardware too and so all in all better value than a Hive or Nest solution.

My smart controller was installed in 2023. I found the app very helpful and easy to use. I've just moved to a new property and installed a smart controller there too but I find it isn't as easy to use as my Alpha connect.

An utterly disgraceful app. Company clearly don't care about it either. Would recommend not getting an alpha boiler because they are an absolute shambles.

Poorly designed app. There needs to be a simple on/off button within the app. The temperature dial is too sensitive to the touch and often sets to temperature a few degs +/- when you take your finger off. Also, you have to stay on the app for about 20 seconds before making your selection, otherwise they won't be saved. The timer function is overly complicated. Overall, the app needs a complete redesign.

Now unable to open the app to be able to control heating via schedule. Each time I log in it crashes back out. This used to work so well. I've uninstalled & re-installed but still doesn't work. I need to be able to control my heating, especially with constant rising costs as It's not always convenient to manually switch on & off. Please hurry up & get this fixed as I'm not the only one having this issue. Thank you
